Christena McCain

Christena began teaching Social Studies in 2011 with Rocky View Schools. She remained in that position until joining Edge School in the fall of 2022. Prior to teaching, Christena played university volleyball for Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, where she earned AUS libero of the year honours, won two AUS conference championships and was a three-time Academic All-Canadian. Christena’s positive experiences in sport led her into coaching and teaching. Christena enjoys mentoring and supporting athletes as they navigate academics and athletics, making Edge School a natural fit.
